The Ultimate in Hidden Braces

More and more, adults want to experience the benefits of a perfect smile, without the obvious appearance of metal or ceramic brackets. Lingual Braces now offer a completely invisible brace solution to with In-Ovation L.

They are a relatively new, modern and invisible alternative to conventional braces. They are fixed to the back of your teeth, making them the only truly invisible brace. Speech can be a little affected while your soft tissues adapt but, we use very low profile brackets to minimise discomfort. Typically your tongue adapts within 3 days and 99% of our lingual patients would agree that really is the worth it for the ultimate option in discreet orthodontics.

Lingual Braces

How do Lingual Braces work?

Lingual braces work similarly to fixed metal braces, except the brackets are fixed to the inside of your teeth rather than on the surface, making them the most invisible option.

A wire is tied into the brackets, which gradually moves your teeth into their desired position. As with any braces, you’ll need to visit us regularly so that we can can adjust or change the wires to ensure your teeth are moving as planned.

What are the advantages?

There are many benefits to hidden braces, but most notable are;

  • They are Discreet: Lingual braces are a the MOST discreet way to straighten your smile as they’re hidden behind your teeth. This makes them popular for adults who might feel self-conscious about getting their teeth straightened using traditional, visible metal braces.
  • They are Effective: Since lingual braces are fixed, they deliver the same accurate and predictable results you can expect to achieve with traditional fixed braces. This means they can be used to treat a range of orthodontic problems, including some complex ones.

Who can wear Lingual Braces?

They’re suitable for all ages. Particularly adults who want to correct their smile without everyone noticing. They can treat a wide range of orthodontic malocclusions. There are only a few reasons we would suggest fixed outside braces, so see if you’re a candidate today!

How long does lingual treatment take?

Treatment time is the same as any other orthodontic appliance! Typically treatment takes 12-15 months. But if your orthodontic complaint is mild, it can be much quicker. The bonus with Lingual is that you’ll be able to watch your teeth transform as the results aren’t hidden behind brackets & wires.
